A Charming Proposal with Tiffany-Style Sparkle
From adventurous hot air balloon rides to quaint nights at a bed and breakfast, Hung's girlfriend planned a beautiful birthday weekend. Little did she know, Hung had been working with Brian Gavin Diamonds to plan an even grander surprise — a proposal.
Hung worked closely with the BGD team to order his classic Tiffany-style half round platinum engagement ring, complete with the couple's initials engraved inside. Completely comfortable with purchasing jewelry on the Internet, he worked closely with Catherine on our customer service team to make his ring perfect in every way.
"I've received the ring and the diamond is beyond gorgeous. It is perfect in size and symmetry," says Hung. "The glamour shot of the arrows show them to be perfectly symmetrical, especially in the center of the diamond. I tried to examine the diamond with a flashlight and it essentially blinded me; it was so bright. I couldn't have asked for a better diamond."
We were so honored to work with Hung to provide the perfect ring and help begin this exciting chapter in his life.
We received the below update from Hung after his proposal:
Hi Catherine,
The proposal went perfectly. She took me to a nice B&B for a couple of days for my birthday and I proposed there. At first, I had planned on doing it on the hot air balloon ride that she booked as a birthday present but the basket we were in was too cramped. It barely fit us and the pilot in there, almost shoulder to shoulder, so I decided to wait for another perfect moment.
When we got back to the B&B, I thought about taking a walk and just finding the right moment and place to do it, but once I saw the back patio, I knew immediately that it was the right place. We had the whole place to ourselves, as there were no other guests there the entire time we were there and even the innkeeper was away that night. The back patio was lit up in small white lights and it was very cozy. I sat her down, had some coffee, and once I gathered up enough courage, I popped the question. From then on, we just kept staring at how beautiful the ring was. She was glad I proposed the way I did, just the two of us, instead of on the balloon ride, since it was more my style.
I've sent a few pictures of our proposal for you to enjoy. Thank you again and I look forward to working with you again soon.
