Brian Gavin Creates Magnificent Double Halo Split Shank Cushion Cut Diamond Engagement Ring…
Right before Christmas John contacted us via the website asking us to create a custom diamond engagement ring inspired by the Tiffany Soleste. He wanted the center stone to be prong set, the double halo and to retain the split shank which was his girlfriend's favorite part of the design.
Jamie worked with him to find a GIA certified modern cushion brilliant. She e-mailed him several suggestions and he selected a beautiful 2 carat H VS2. We brought the diamond in for inspection and e-mailed him the picture in the gallery below.
Once the stone was finalized, John mailed in a ring so that we would have the correct ring size and we started work on the CAD for the setting. We e-mailed him the first rendition of the CAD and with John's feedback we created an updated CAD for his approval. We then proceeded to cast the setting in platinum and set the Brian Gavin F/G VS Signature melee into the double Halo and the Shank and finally the center stone. The result was magnificent!!
