Brian Gavin Diamonds Customer Proposes on Valentine's Day

Brian Gavin Diamonds Customer Proposes on Valentine's Day

Matt proposed to his soon-to-be wife this past Valentine's Day, only a few days after picking up his soon-to-be fiancée's ring at Brian Gavin Diamonds. After seeing his custom designed engagement ring in person, overwhelmed by its beauty, Matt knew that he had to pop the question right away. In fact, he almost missed a day of work after distractedly staring at the engagement ring for hours!

Matt purchased a Brian Gavin Signature 1.3 carat diamond, set in a classic Tiffany style knife edge six-prong solitaire band.

The edge of the knife edge Tiffany style solitaire from Brian Gavin Diamonds is not actually sharp like the edge of a knife, this industry term is used to describe the particular shape of the ring shank. The primary differences between the knife edge Tiffany style solitaire and the classic Tiffany half round style solitaire settings from Brian Gavin, are the outer contour of the ring shank. On a knife-edge setting (like Matt's pictured above), the ring shank extends out to a slight point, versus rounded in a "half round" setting.

Matt proposed on Valentines Day, surprising his girlfriend with a calendar with a hand-carved nook into their engagement date (February 14), perfectly fitting the box for the engagement ring.

We received the below email from Matt after his proposal and look forward to working with him and his fiancée to create a matching wedding band.

Hi Jamie!

Just wanted to say thank you so much for all your help. I received the ring, and was blown away. In fact, once I had it, I could not wait to propose. I needed to give it to her as soon as humanly possible. So, two days after I received the ring, I proposed – on Valentine's Day. She said yes! And, she absolutely adores the ring. As does everyone who sees it. It's simply stunning. So, thank you!

We went together to get it appraised, which was really fun, because she got to learn about all the little stuff I had been obsessing over for months. Plus, it was super cool to see the inscription on the girdle!

Thanks again for everything. Up next: wedding bands.

-Matt
