About 10 days ago we received the following e-mail:
Hi Brian and Lesley, I am a long time member of Pricescope and I have been admiring BGD designs for some time now. Your work is absolutely incredible in every new picture I see! I've always been leery about buying diamonds online but I think I have found a piece that I would love to get me started. I am very interested in the Diamonds By The Yard necklace but I have a question. I would like to know if the chain is strong enough to hold a pendant. My mom passed away in August and my father bought me an angel pendant that is 31mm in height and 23mm in width. Is this too large to hang from a chain like this?
We asked her to e-mail us a picture of the pendant so we could see what it looked like and if her idea would work. Once we had confirmed that it would we got to work and created an 18" handmade custom 18 carat Diamonds by the Yard necklace with 8 x .07 F/G VS Brian Gavin Signature Melee evenly spaced. The 8th diamond allowed the pendant to hang in the center with a diamond on each side.
Hi Lesley! I picked up my FedEx package and ripped it open in the car! Thank goodness there was no one else in the parking lot! I love, love, love my new necklace! It's absolutely beautiful and looks PERFECT with my angel pendant! I didn't realize how difficult it is to take photos of this necklace with the diamonds turning around on me. I took a ton of them and then realized that the diamonds were flipped over. Now the sun is in and out but I will not give up yet! I sent you a few, as requested, and included one with my 8ct diamond. I cannot thank you enough for being so kind. I enjoyed our conversation and getting to know more about you and Brian. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you. After reading all of the wonderful comments on Pricescope for so many years, I am proud to own a BGD piece. It will have extra meaning for me because of the angel, in remembrance of my mother, hanging from it. The diamonds give it a little extra sparkle like a star in the sky. Your work is incredible and your customer service is top rated. I would love to work with you again in the near future.
